As a biodiverse island, Whitecap Foredunes is home to many plant and wildlife species that live here year round including Phacelia Ramosissima, Red Sand Verbena, Legless Lizards, Horned Toads, humming birds, warblers, Black Phoebes and also home to migratory birds such as the Long Billed Curlew, American Kestrels, and the Great Blue Heron.
